For some people it maybe a little bit of a drive to get out to the range. Last thing you want to do is cut your trip short because you forgot something or have to drive back. in that case or in any case when you get settled in it's nice to know that you have everything that you'll need. To that end I've created my own list. It should be noted that each person's list will we different based on your individual needs.

Here's my preliminary rough list. I'll leave it to the more experienced shooters in this form to examine and comment.

but first a brief description of my setup and what I intend to do when I get there. I would like to bench shoot at targets approximately 50 to 100 to 200 yards out. I'm going to accomplish this using a CVA wolf 45 caliber cheap shot saboted bullets and loose hodgdon 777 powder.

Folding chair if required

Door mats or towels etc to lay on range table.

Sandbags or tripod

Loose 777 in powder flask

Powder measure

Pre measure load tubes

209 primers

Bullet and sabots

Range rod

Bullet starter

Cotton patches

Scissors for above patches if needed

Quick bore cleaning solution for between shots (must be evaporative)

Pipe cleaner, needle or drill bit for breech plug hole

Teflon tape, antiseeze or grease for breach threads

Paper targets

Pins, tape, stapler or toothpick to attach targets

Range finder or binoculars

Bottled water

Lint free rags

Paper towels

Pens or pencils

Score cards

Sunglasses or eye protection

Hearing protection

Scope tools ie Allen wrenches etc. In case scope loosens up

Glass cleaner wipes

Drinking water

Hand sanitizer

Snacks

Multiple head screwdriver and/or multi-tool.

Pocket knife

Sunscreen

Insect repellent
