This pretty much sums it up from what ive seen. You gain so little going from a 26" or 28" barrel to a 30". The 26" lost less than 90fps using a max load of BH209 vs the 30". Loads under max lost even less fps per inch. The 4 extra inches are just not worth it to me on a scoped inline.

On a side note a 45cal 1-20 27" with a max load of BH209 and a sabotless 300gr is good for 2100fps+ so if the goal is fps, you dont need 3 more inches of barrel and a max load of BH209 to do it.
