Have a 1 in 60 Lyman GPR and was wondering if anyone makes a ball-et style slug to gain some mass over the PRB.

Lee r.e.a.l. bullets/moulds come in 300 and 380 grains. Both sizes performed excellently in my Great Plains Rifle as did TC maxi-balls.

Midsouth has the moulds for 19 bucks apiece.

And there is a guy on gunbroker who casts & sells them. Currently has 300 grainers listed at 144 sized to .504 & prelubed for $49.00 or 144 as cast unsized/unlubed for $45.00 and has free shippin’.

Your twist may be too slow to stabalize a ball.-et

My Great Plains Rifle had the same 1 in 60 twist and performed excellently with real’s in both 300gr and 380gr weights and with maxi-balls that were longer and weighed one ounce. And accuracy was excellent too.
