I own a heritage .22 6 shot black pearl.

I noticed 2 things on this firearm that concern me.

1. I get blowback. A light gassy breeze with some particles hit my face when fired at arms length.

2. When cocked and loaded the cylinder has side to side play.

Should I be concerned? I emailed heritage and am waiting on a response. They have a crappy one year warranty which requires you to pay for shipping both ways it seems.

A few things I didn't mention. Heritage claims that a gap of 0.15 between cylinder and cone is within spec. Not sure if they mean when cocked and loaded. My gap is much smaller than spec when cocked less than a playing card which measured .012.

There is some side to side play aprox. .021 of an inch.
