Anyone use Harvester bullets?

I will be trying the White Lightening 300 as soon as my primer pocket shims get here. It does not matter much at the distances most of us shoot, but that is the highest BC bullet I can find that will work in a 1:28 50cal.

As it is starting at .429-430 it really does not need to expand. It the nose just flattens it will do the job. For decades.... centuries?...people have shot heavy flat bullets out of .45/70 and packed a lot of meat. I think those were 405 grain at muzzleloader velocities.

Big flat nose bullets make big holes and still penetrate.

Not exactly the same, but I could tell a big difference shooting 9mm at bowling pins. Flat nose knocked the pins off the table much better than round/pointed noses. If the pin did not fall completely off the table I would have to shoot the pin that is now laying down and probably loose the match. If I could get them off the table in one shot it was hard for bigger guns to get on target and shoot faster than 3 rounds per second.

Cant say much for the bullets outside the 300 grn scorpion PT gold, which I have shot in several rifles and always shot accurately. I have never used them hunting yet. I HAVE shot many hundreds of crush rib sabots with Blackhorn powder (mostly in knights and a TC triumph) and they work well for me. (with several different bullets, in .50 cal guns)..

Any problems with plastic fouling? I've read that can be a problem with sabots and that has kept me from trying them.

I have never even noticed this plastic fouling, just the dirty BH209 fouling. If it’s there it cleans right up easily, and where have I been that I’m only now learning how good Windex is with cleaning?
