I had some 35 grain N110 loads from last year in the range box, I figured what the hay and shot some with the 250 grain XTP.

4 shots, smoothed sized, wool wad, 100 yards (the target looks funny because I taped another section up to cover some holes)

Mine liked it too but as you know my plug is shorter than yours and I no longer shoot that powder. You should give that load a try with a Barnes 275 it will impress you and may shoot a touch faster.

Use caution with N110. 35gr and a 250gr bullet is starting to get up there in peak pressure. Peak could jump a fair amount going to a 275gr.
30gr and a 275gr BE is very close to 40kpsi

Yes, I agree. I tried to find as many pressure traces as I could on single charges of N110 before shooting it, that one caught my eye. I get more velocity, less pressure, and good accuracy with H4198, my preferred powder.

IMO you should be fine with the 250gr bullet load. Even in a Scout but pressure goes up fast with bullet weight. You can shoot a 225gr bullet with more N110 and peak is lower. So its a good option for 250gr or less. Just be careful going over 250gr. I bet the little Barnes 45LC 200gr or 225gr XPB would be a dynamite bullet for N110 loads. Light recoil and should hit 2300-2400fps without cracking a sweat.

The 45 ACP 185 gr. would be a fantastic bullet too!!!!

very nice! I love to see groups like that with a break barrel.
