Just curious -- is there any significance to the type of marking on White barrels? By that I mean that most I see for sale are marked with a laser engraving (company name, caliber, etc.), but mine has a stamp/roll mark instead. Is that an indicator of age, whim, or something else?

I’ve only seen the ones that were stamped/roll mark as you put it. The only engraving I’ve seen were on the stocks of Deer or Elk.

My s91 is lazer printed on the barrel and its faded/worn pretty well. I wish it had been stamped instead. But the stamped ones don't look as good imho. I think the stamped were done either very early or when Doc wasn't running the company?
