Best Solvent for BH209?

Do you have to use the BH 209 solvent from Montana Extreme. Or are there better choices?

I don’t know if it’s better or not, but I use Hoppes #9.

I am still stuck in the old world but it really works for me whether I am shooting T7 or BH. BH is primarily a engineered smokeless powder but to qualify to be considered a sub it has to have Sulphur and Potassium added into the formula. Because of those two additives I still use old fashioned Blue Windex to wipe, clear and neutralize their effects after that I am really after the BH residue using Birchwood Casey 2-in-1 Bore Cleaner, an awesome cleaner lubricator.

Works really well for me - quick - simple - easy!

Again just my method others will have completely different thoughts. Eventually you will settle on something that works for you,

I don’t know if it’s better or not, but I use Hoppes #9.

I works as good as anything. I mix it 50/50 with 91% alcohol. However, I do use Windex SPRAY to clean my brake.

Windex here as well, only I buy the dollar store brand.

I use the 50/50 mic also(tip from Bestill). Works great
