I Love the Big Bores !!!! For those that havent seen them in action at harvest time there isnt Anything quite like them !!!! The Roar , the Authority , oh Man the Goosebumps !!!!!! The Smackdown really must be seen to be appreciated !!!!! 52 bore you have a Beautiful stable of deep throated guys !!!! BaWhoom !!!!!

Recoil is not so, I’ve found these Big Bores with soft lead to be a pleasure to shoot.
You got me thinking:
Using a 9 pound gun - here is the recoil.
52/500HP @ 1250fps (75gr 3f) = 35 ft.lbs
72/850gr @ 950fps (75gr) = 49 ftlbs
250gr bullet @ 2150fps (120grV -BH209 data) = 45 ftlbs
300gr @ 2050fps (120grV -BH209 data) = 52 ftlbs

As for the 850gr conical - I made the mold after building the gun.

Do ya think that 850 grain will take a big white tail cause ya know the velocity is way down don't you have to have high velocity to take game animals lol just kidding I would love to have a custom 58 cal that will handle a lot of powder

Bought a blank and milled it octagon.
