Did my weekly hog hunt yesterday. Took my scoped .54 caliber TC Fire Hawk. At about 7:30 pm a boar weighing 150-160 pounds came into view about 80 yards away. Put the crosshairs on the ear. Boar went down at the shot, flopped for about 30 seconds and lay still.

Gun: .54 caliber TC Fire Hawk
Powder: 100 grains of Black MZ
Primer: #11 cap
Projo: .530 Round ball w/drill cloth patch
Twist: 1/38"

Good Job!! :yeah:

Very cool. I wish I lived somewhere I could hunt hogs. Went once to a place in TN and had a blast.

Congrats. Always wanted to kill a hog with my .54 Hawken and a PRB.
