Last week it got up to 40 degrees here in Maine. I decided to cast a few bullets. I used a Lee C-501-440-RF Mold. I had a large ladel on a small coleman propane bottle stove. I cast 26 bullets and sized 24 with a .500 sizer I bought off E-bay. Its threaded on one end but I put it on a maple bench and tapped them through. When it warms a bit more I will shoot a few and see what the Gonic will do. I have a couple Gonics, an 87 .50cal with a beautiful stock. I also have a 93 mag with the black composite stock. The 93 will utilize heavier charges but I love the beautiful stock on the 87. I will let the other one go. They say these will shoot 1" groups at 100 yards.I had a friend who shot a polar bear and I think a Kimcatka bear with Gonics years ago
