Are they squirrel dogs? Seems like I’ve read something about them recently.

I think they can be used to hunt a variety of game. Seems like I read they are very friendly and make good pets.

My Current rescue from Arkansas. Supposed to be a mountain cur. 45lbs and a great family dog. Certainly likes chasing squirrels and barks treed when she has one. I should start squirrel hunting again for her sake.

I don’t know about cur dogs but the most common leashed deer tracking dogs I see around here are wiener dogs. No idea why.

I had a little miniature jack russell terrier that was really good at tracking deer.
