Speaking for myself only, we had a difference of opinion...we debated it back and forth, made ourselves clear and when it had ran it's course it was over. I have the utmost respect for Muley Hunter, his experiences and positions. We're just a couple of grumpy old men sure of what we believe and where we stand.
And I only want the best for not only him but anyone here in this forum. After all...we are all of the same tribe.

Well played.

TB just posted he got just over 2700fps with the new ELR and 150gr by volume in his HTR prototype from CVA. 140grV was clocking 2640fps.

With 150-grains of Blackhorn 209, I've been getting the belted/skirted 225-grain poly-tipped spire-point out of the muzzle of the 26-inch .40 caliber Bergara barrel at around 2,710 f.p.s. - and due to the 225-grain weight of the long bullet ... with right at 3,670 foot-pounds of energy at the muzzle!
