Just picked up a CVA conversion I had done up for my dad. I have imr 4227 on hand and have been looking around for loads.
I saw one guy shooting 53gr with 275gr bullet.
Setup is CVA scout 25" barrel, HIS with 45/70 conversion breach plug, 275gr pittman aeromax, dry wool wad. I have LR and LRM primers. Any help is greatly appreciated. I of course will do proper load workup. If anyone would like to PM me vs posting thats fine as well.
