my gun came with the dura sight mount... are they medium ... like to get low's my scope should work with low's thanks michael

I ended up pulling that Dead-On mount off, mounting the Durasight rail and using Vortex Viper Pro medium rings to mount my 30mm Vortex Viper 2.5-10x44.

Is your scope tube 1" or 30mm? What scope? I might have been able to get away with lows, but not if I wanted to use my scope covers.

I just went and FOUND mine.

I swear, I could hide my own Easter Eggs, and still not find them all! CRS!

Can you believe, it was in the last place I looked? In the scope box, duh!

Mine has an "M" stamped/molded into the bottom of the base, so obviously a Medium. No other identifiers on the mount. It is 5/8" from the center of the base up to the opening in the ring.

They do offer High, Medium, and Low mounts from CVA. I would shop around because there are probably better prices on the net.

You should have no problem using lows with that scope.

Here are the SKU numbers.

High, SKU: BPI-DS410B

Medium, SKU: BPI-DS411B

Yes, the factory brake is a KDF and removable.

What caliber is your Scout?

Mine is a .450 Bushmaster.

I have used the Dead On and the DNZ Game Reaper (https://www.dnzproducts.com/product/game-reaper-cva/)mounts on my CVA Scout and Accura V2, and prefer the DNZ mount. The Dead On marked my scope with its internal ring ridges, while the DNZ is smooth in the rings, but still requires no lapping. Also, when you compare the Dead On to the DNZ side by side, the DNZ is much more substantial, although I know that might not mean a thing in reality. Both are rock solid, but if I were going to buy one or the other with my own dime, I would go with the DNZ.

That said, the DNZ only makes the 1" in low, with the 30mm being medium at its smallest.
