These Tac OPs used to be the original Elite Tacticals. One of the best scopes Bushnell ever made and the clearance price is huge on some.

I THINK this is an original Burris XTR-312. Made in USA. The XTR IIs were made in the Philippines but still excellent scopes.

New Veracity 2-10x42 for almost $250 off....Natchez runs this price deal quite a bit.

New Veracity 3-15x50 SFP over $250 off.

Blem Veracity 3-15x50 FFP over $250 off...LOVE THIS RETICLE for some reason.

I paid less for mine but $450 is still way better than you will see anywhere. Love this Razor HD LH scope for its weight, eye relief and glass quality.

Ive seen a few more like all the upper end Sig Tango and Whiskey5 series. Some with big discounts. Crimson Trace 5s for around half off but all of these types of scopes are mostly very busy and illuminated reticles. Im focusing mostly on looking at scope with enough eye relief for a ML and suitable for hunting or target applications. I just dont need illumination but i could tolerate it as long as the reticle isnt a Christmas tree.

If you want a huge honking well made Japanese scope....This is way over half off. If i didnt have to buy 34mm rings i would think about it just for giggles.

On a side note, i wish i could bring myself to buy a Chinese made scope. This one gets great reviews and has excellent features IMO. Nearly $600 though for a Chinese made scope just aint gunna happen when i can find deals like ive posted. I REALLY like everything else about this scope and it would fit my rings.

how about the leupold vx3i 4.5-14 x 50mm on midway for 549.00 I think it was. also saw it somewhere else too for that but my mind has gone blank at the moment. 30mm tube manufacturers number is 170709.

I think they are dropping the VX3i and replacing it with 3HD so deals might start popping up on clearance scopes. Only thing im not too fond of is you get to choose from either 40mm or 50mm OBJ. They dont offer a 42 mm or 44mm unless you step up to the 5HD. No 5x zoom either. So you cant get say a 3-15 without stepping upto a much more expensive scope. While i really like some of the 5HDs, the Sightron 4-20x50 is only $409 and that is not even a sale price. The 3-16x42 is under $400 and i bet it competes very well against any Loopie under $500. What i like about Loopie is the weight and many of them have excellent eye relief. Very nice selection of reticles too.

I ordered a cva scout in 6.5 creedmoor as they passed high powered rifles during the regular season here, and have been looking at scopes. this thread is a good one.

Some of the Meopta Optika6 line have a large selection of reticles and very reasonable pricing for Euro glass. Eye relief is good for lighter recoil rifles and for hard kickers. The one thing that is hard to get past though is the weight. They are very heavy scopes even the 44mm obj models are 27oz. I THINK the power adjustment ring is rubberized and that could have longevity issues.

Sport Optics has them on sale atm coupon code EURO16. A Optika6 3-18x50 illuminated 4K can be had for well under $600 with tactical turrets and a base plex model as low as $503. These guys have some great prices occsaionally. They ran some Zeiss V4 at a large savings for awhile so check their clearance section. They got several others on sale too.

Cool reticle on this one. Almost a German #4 with only the center lit

I would take a good hard look at those S-TACs. When you add up all the pros and cons they compare extremely well even against scopes costing $100 more. They offer the 3-16x42 in a FFP but that is over $500. Im having a hard time talking myself out of a S-TAC. On the SML boards ive read of 1 failure and it was on the 2.7-17x56 model. Sightron took care of it fast and the new scope was fine. So even the CS seems very solid.

Sightron owns the factories in Japan and the Philippines. They dont out source assembly to OEMs like LOW or Scopro. Rather Sightron is owned by Kenko-Tokina Japan and Kenko owns the factories to be more accurate.

gonna have to look at those stacs . it seems I read they had very fine reticles though unless Iv'e got them mixed up with another scope. these deer come out pretty late during gun season.

just looked and the gun has been delivered to the ffl, usps took 9 days from Pa. to Va. lol. and hardly any tracking shown to sooth my mind.

That Burris Veracity 3-15x50 FFP is worth looking at also. The blems on sale at Natchez are about $460. Reviews from buyers say that cant find any blemish on them. I may call and find out if the sunshade and flip up caps are missing of not. One review said the only thing he saw wrong was a corner of the box was dented. Everyone else is around $700+ for that scope.

ATM i might hold out for a sale on a Loopie 5HD 3-15x44 plex or a Razor HD LHT 3-15x42 HSR. Both almost exactly what i want in a scope but over $900 is much more than i want to spend. A guy on Rockslide has a NIB 5HD 3-15x44 for $825....That is a great price.

I thought this one might interest some. First time ive see a 34mm 1-8 FFP scope without a fancy illuminated reticle and its made in Japan. Its half price too. Seems like a ton of scope for $400.

The Crimson Trace 3-Series is a feature rich 1-8x 28mm short-range rifle scope that has been purposefully built from the ground up. The scopes First Focal Plane (FFP) and impressive ED glass clarity makes for an unparalleled shooting experience. The custom designed SR2-MOA BDC advanced reticle offers a quick acquisition points that vanish when increasing magnification. The capped 1/2 MOA turrets provide a precise and rugged feel when dialing for the most accurate of shots.

The entire Crimson Trace Scope Line offers EZ Mount Leveling Indicators for quick and exact mounting and RAR Tech (Red Alignment Ring) for proper eye placement.

I believe the Veracity and the XTRII are the pretty much the same scope, minus the exposed turrets and reticle. That's a great deal on the blems.

XTR-II are a 34mm tube and quite a bit more MOA of elevation adjustment. Something line 110 MOA vs 70 MOA.

I could have swore my Burris rep mentioned they were basically the same to me. I must have miss understood him.

Curious on guns that have the Vortex glass, any issues with staying true after several hundred shots fired?

I personally wouldn’t own another Vortex Scope, I bought a Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 and it fell apart after just a few outings on my .45 Cal Knight Mountaineer (Wouldn’t Hold Zero anymore) And this Scope was a 1,000 Bucks.
