I've been looking at the little 31 cal Pocket revolvers at DGW; Wells Fargo, Baby Dragoon, Pocket Revolver, 1848, 1849, for something to plink with in the backyard. They use so little powder, I doubt they'd cause much trouble.
Problem is, it appears from their pictures that none of them have sights. Is this true? Were they strictly meant to shoot someone at card table distances?
I know Colt sights didn't amount to much back then, but there was at least a bump near the muzzle and a notch in the hammer.
