I got the 1/4 inch thick Off-White Carbon hard (F-1) felt from the closeout page. $10 shipped for about 132 sq. in. #FS138OWCH-8
I will be punching out wads for my .36 Pietta and when my lambs tallow and beeswax gets here I can make my lube and treat them. I should get over 400 wads.
My plan is to eliminate my filler by adding powder- then a hard waxed paper wad (milk carton),- then a plain 1/4 felt wad,- then a 1/4 lubed wad.- then seat bullet.
As it is, I'm using 13 gr cream of wheat as a filler and want to eliminate it, just one less thing to deal with.
