Federal 209 primers

Forgive my ignorance but which Winchester 209 primer do I use with BH209? Is it the W209 shotshell primer?

Yes stick with regular 209 shotgun primers.

Yes. Winchester, CCI, Federal... as long as it doesnt say its intended for muzzleloaders.

I have always used the Win 209's with Blackhorn. That being said, yesterday I read a deal that claimed they are not good to use in cold weather. And recommended Federal or CCI.

Like Michigan in January cold? Or Florida in January cold? I have all 3 brands and i may have had cold weather ignition problem in Feb but it may have been that it was so cold i wasnt compressing the load sufficiently.
