IMG-20191015-WA0031.jpg After all the tinkering around and help from forum members getting my rig set up, I was fortunate to take this eastern Colorado buck. Thanks again for all the responses to my questions.

WOW WHAT A BUCK!!! How come you're not smiling??? If I shot one like that I'd have a smile from ear to ear! :D Now how about some details, load, bullet, distance, how far did he run, where did you hit him.

Great Job and thanks for posting it gives us something to look forward to this season.

Used CVA Accura V2 with rear peep and fiber optic front sight. Weighed 62 grain BH209 load and 50 caliber full bore 300 grain Thor bullet. Hit slightly back from front shoulder and it pulverized the lungs. Distance approximately 60 yards in heavy brush CRP field. Dropped at shot, made couple attempts to stand and expired before reloaded and walked over to him. Wasn't able to recover bullet.
