talk to Ed Mehlig on here and see about getting some of his 460 gr and 350 gr conical, they shoot great in my .451.
Also look into No-Excuse conical for .45

As far as bullets. My 451’s like anything from 345 - 465gr I would probably start off with 65 - 80 gr depending if you are shooting 2 or 3F powder.

When I had a Whitetail .451 I used 420gr bullets I brought 200 online. They shot good probably got 80 or more in original boxes, I'll put them in my Lee Pot and make .504's out of them in the Spring.
