The only deer I have seen are text messages from my buddies showing off their deer. Squirrels of course always the squirrels, and a possum last night at 4:30, but I think he was a spy for the local deer herd.

Maybe the racoon that tried to climb up in the deerstand with my hunting buddy this morning is in cahoots with the possum you saw last night. Lol. And yes the squirrels too. I do enjoy being in the woods.

4 of us were down, including a youth niece, 15 or so. We each got a buck, no monsters, I shot an already wounded/hurt small racked 10 point. A coyote decided to come by too, chip shot.

I am a meat hunter but I do enjoy watching a mature buck when I get the chance. Which isn't very often. Don't get me wrong though I like watching them right up to the point when I can pull the trigger.
