What is the difference between the Alaskan and the model 98. I know its a .54, but is it the barrel is thicker or the receiver stronger etc. I have a super 91 in .50 with a bull barrel (1.125 ) all the way to the crown. Could it handle more powder ? Looking for answers

might want to contact Doc, I'm guessing no it wont handle anymore powder then a regular barrel, bull barrels are more for barrel stiffness/harmonics to increase accuracy then they are bigger powder charges..
