Passed out of committee this morning. It's coming to your state as well, beware!!

It's not a law yet, hopefully won't be. I certainly hope all members here are registered to vote an get to the polls in November to stop this crap!!

Yea, it's got a lot of people buying AR's around here. I'm in SW VA, they upped the mag limit to 12. I know of many, many people with 17rd pistols. Mine is a 12 and I don't use an AR but if somebody wants one they do and should have the right. Hope the voters get out and vote this year to stop/reverse this madness.

Guess I'm cought up in the November Elections
The 2020 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. All 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives, 35 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate, and the office of president of the United States will be contested. Thirteen state and territorial governorships, as well as numerous other state and local elections, will also be contested

Personally I hate Politics But force myself to vote conservative for the benefit of all.

You Betcha they will be !!! This whole subject bothers me big time . Bunch of communist degenerates here in the USA holding office or wanting to . Get out and vote is all we can do .
The "Good Book" tells of things to come and we're looking at the beginnings of it now .
Modern man is going to regret allowing decades of liberalism / socialism to take root here . Its taken that long to set all this in motion -- and they are "going for it" NOW !!! History not only repeated for the worse but THE WORST --- EVER ........

I may not be from Virginia toytruck but you definately can count on unity from me on the Federal level . We all desperately need to Unite !!! This is a hell of alot bigger than "our state" . This is about being free men . Our forefathers tried to protect this nations people from this . This is no time to be "independant" , only united do we have a chance . The phrase "When good men do nothing --evil flourishes" has never been truer than it is today......and if we dont stick together , we'll definately ALL fall apart .

This is being considered in the Senate tomorrow. Both of my local representatives have voted NO an will continue to do so. I just hope more will come to their senses and do the right thing and kill this bill!! I will keep you all up to date...

Most Americans do not know that it was the Second Amendment that was RESPONSIBLE for the existence of the United States.

When it got down to the nitty gritty of ratification, and it looked as if there wasn't going to be a Constitution, the state's that were going to vote NO were going to do so over the right to keep and bear arms.

As difficult as it might seem in 2020, there were just as many people, percentage wise, in 1775, that thought the government should take care of all the dangerous stuff, like self-defense.

And, as much as most gun owning Americans take the Second Amendment for granted, it was a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY close thing to it not being in the Constitution.

NRA is reporting HB961 was defeated by the Senate Committee 10-5!! It appears this bill is dead!! We have to stay on top of this, they sure won't leave our gun rights alone till they get what they want!!
