I’m new to this site. I’m on the muzzleloader forum by the same. Location in North Idaho. Have recently (2-3 years) been bit by the traditional muzzleloader bug. If shot BP pistols, and loaded BP Cartridge for years but lately I’m really enjoying sidelock muzzleloaders. My passion is hunting and here in Idaho, we have a pretty decent “primitive muzzleloader” season for elk and deer. I got my first (and only) muzzleloader harvest last year during deer season. Anyhow, I’m happy to have found this site. Because everybody likes pictures, here is a TC Renegade 50cal that I built from a kit last year. I lucked out finding an untouched kit from the 70’s. Also included is the whitetail doe I harvested with my Lyman GPR last year.

Thank you for the welcome. I’m in the Silver Valley, east of Couer D’Alene.
That rifle, I went ahead and browned the barrel and all the hardware, rather than bluing it. I’m real happy with how it turned out. The only problem is, now I want to brown all of my blues rifles

Welcome aboard. And I agree excellent browning on the barrel! I attempted that also on a pistol kit but it’s apparently not easy as mine looks more like I screwed something up vs an intentional color.!
