Cast some tonite they are big and heavy ! Lol casting out at 756 grains and .503-.505 will need to size down .001-.002 thou

Sized and lubed a bunch of these planned on going to range today but weather is pretty lousy today but I welcome the rain and snow we are getting we desperately need it !

Ok tomorrow I'll try these got a batch sized and lubed ready to go I'll be using 777/fffg probably100 grains and go from there really going to shoot my 45-90 but can't resist trying these !!

My cake cutters are just like this one only made from .50 Action Express and .454 casull cartridges. Originally I used them for wadcutters until I broke down, opened up my wallet, chased the moths away and ordered a set of arch type cutters.... still need to splurge on lube cutters and or a lube sizer and dies. I’ve sized with Lee push through dies for so long and they work so well it’s hard to justify the switch.

That pic looks familiar :) I guess it should, i took it :lewis:
 
If you do it at just the right time, the bullets push out leaving only lube in the grooves. I wait until the lube skins over on top, then in the fridge fir ten minutes, you can then just push them out with your thumb. That of course is with my lube, everyone else will probably have different results. If I wait too long, the lube just breaks apart and none sticks to the bullet.
