I guess I have a different approach to pig hunting. I own a ranch that they are literally tearing up. I eat parts (ham and backstrap) every once in a while, but for the most part I shoot them and leave them lay. I have killed as many as 6 in one hunt (centerfire, not MZ). My ideal shot is to shoot thru the shoulders to put them down quick. Don’t care if I ruin meat or not cause I never eat that part. So I need a bullet that holds together well when it hits bone. Have been using Hornady 350 gr FPBs, and they do stay together pretty well. but will shoot some Barnes 290 TEZs soon
The FPBs are discontinued anyway.
