Years ago I sent Ronn L. some Barnes 155gr 10mm Tac-XP bullets that I was using for my grandson with a reduced load for him. Ron duplicated that load and got the the to expand perfectly in his water jugs.

My 250gr Spirepoints hit about 2000 fps with about 106 gr of BH209 in my TC. The BC is listed at .189 with the hollow point point but I was able to get some of the same blue points and they fit perfectly (on the right side)

So I was wondering what kind of velocity I might see with the same 106-110gr of BH209?

I might have an opportunity for some long range shots in Illinois this fall. Thanks.

BH209 data: The avg MV of all 9-250gr projectiles listed at 110grV is 2025fps.
Avg 10-300gr is 1950fps.
Roughly 75fps/50gr weight of these bullets.

So est 150fps faster for the 160gr TAC-XP over your 250gr.
Your BC will be slightly better with the smaller diameter.
