Soooo... I have a breechloader.
Remington Model 760, caliber .35 Remington.
New in box condition.
Literally.
Her KV stamp dates her to May of 1979. The last of the 760 .35 Remingtons...
Very good trigger for a 760.
I believe I paid a fair price for her, given her condition ( not a ding or scratch and 100% finish on operating surfaces like slide tube and action bars) and being the last of her kind. .35 Remington Model 760s aren't exactly common. A bit over 34,000 out of over a million rifles...
Always liked the .35 Remington. Cast and jacketed equally usable in full power loads. Polite on one end. The other... not so much.
I have a couple hundred cases and a small supply of Sierra and Hornady round noses. Some Hodgdon LVR would be nice.
And primers...

I’ve owned a tc contender super 16, in .35 Rem for 30 yrs or so. The cartridge can be brought up to its full potential by reloading. There are specific loads for the contender which are near maximum for the cartridge.

Remy pump in 35 Rem. Outstanding!

You guys are killing me with you 35 Rems. Remington 760, 336 marlin and a contender oh my!
