Its hard to tell in the pic but these TPS rings have no gap on either side. You can clearly see the ring cap to base gap on the Contessa rings. So far the only thing i dont like about the TPS X-rings is they dont just tilt off the rail if you loosen the screws. I had to remove the screws for the clamp to move enough to get the rings off the rail. The Contessa rings have a spring under the clamp and they come right off if you loosen the base screws.

From a price standpoint the Contessa light weights are great. They are also 7075 and less than $80 at Euro Optics. Riton sells the same ring with their branding also. They are about $80 on Optics Planet.

I wish they would sell out on these scopes. I find myself looking at it every few days to see if they are gone. Its a bargain at this price. They even have them on the Bushnell Amazon store too. Man this is a nice scope for that kinda money. Made at LOW and FFP but its a pretty big scope too. Natchez still wants almost a grand for them.

http://www.cameralandny.com regularly posts weekly deals on my state forum. They have a lot of deals on returns/open box/ blemish/ bargain bin, etc always changing, but worth watching if you are in the market. I got reeled in so many times on scope deals I had to quit buying. I have scopes for guns still on the wish list

Its just one of the scopes i was looking at before i got the Sightron. Its basically the same as the Elite Tactical version. Plus im a fan of the LOW glass for the price. If its close to my Razor then its a steal at that price. Its just huge at 27oz.
