Hypothetical question but I need some guidelines.
If my bore is say .501 diameter what would be best size for my bullet/sabot diameter need to be to get best accuracy and load easily.
Thanks in advance

I size my bullets in order to have a nice snug fit. I shoot bullet to bore in my 50 cal. CVA Accura V2 Plains Rifle. I pay very close attention to the last couple of inches before it seats to make sure it fits tight enough to stay seated against the over powder veggie wad. Fortunately my bore is very uniform from muzzle to breech. I know some rifles aren't like this. To be clear...how the bullet fits at the muzzle isn't as critical as where it seats against the powder charge. Not remaining seated can be VERY dangerous.

One of my Whitelights has a .501 barrel. I use Harvester Green Crust Rib with Nosler .44 full jacketed hollow points 240gr. Works great. My other Whitelighting has a .503 barrel, I use 460gr pure lead and resize them to .502.
