... what processes and coatings would you use on the slide, barrel, internal components, etc.? I have an EAA Tanfoglio Witness 6" Blued 10mm Hunter. Have read many positive things, with the most common negative being lack of blue robustness. Since I plan on stripping it down anyway, what say you?

Good exterior parts option and is in the running. How about the tight tolerance interfacing parts? From what I've gathered, there's surface treatment processes that extend life/lubricity on parts where surface/surface clearances are almost zero. I've read a few generic reviews focused on Wright Armory
Wright Armory | Gunsmithing Done Wright but thought I'd check here for first hand knowledge and recommendations. Other ideas??

RI in 10mm RK Guns also has .45 just over 400 on sale, I added Sig reflex
A lot better machining than expected, smooth precise, not bad for bear repellant.
