I have never had dealings with them and nobody I know has either. Recently I found a firearm on the site that I was very interested in. The way it is set up invites you to make an offer, so I did just that. A day or two later I got a counter offer. At this point I was ready to pull out the trusty debit card but I had one question. That's where it fell apart. After no answers to my emails, I called their customer service only to be told that they only communicate via email???? Finally I emailed and said I was ready to buy if they were ready to sell. You guessed it.....no reply.

Never heard of that site. You have to be careful about dealing with online sites. Most are legit but many are kinda sketchy.
I like to check out reviews of sites that I don't know about.

There has been a TON of sites show up because of the lack of components and accessories, including firearms. If its not a well known site, stay away.
Lots of money has been lost, accounts ripped off with no product to show. BUYER BEWARE

That's what I'm up yo fellas.

I ordered a revolver off them about 2 years ago and no problems, they contacted my ffl themselves, and it went through without a hitch. I guess now, it's hard telling anymore. Hopefully somebody w/ more recent purchase will chime in....Just checked it out, that is def. The site I bought from, I remember the rating system, they had good photo's too.

I bought a Savage 219 30-30 bored out to 375 Winchester off guns.com.
The purchase went through without a hitch and the rifle went to
my dealer over the course of about a week.
Maybe things have changed but I had a good experience a year ago.
They have been hacked twice so internet security has been an issue
It would be a special gun that would make use them again,
as it was the first time! Give me a heads up if you see my info on the dark web!!!

I wondered about them. I ve been getting email advertising from them at least three times a week. Never clicked on them.

Have they ever emailed you back from earlier? Or maybe they have and it went into your spam folder? Happens to me sometimes.

No answer in my emails about the rifle I want, but 4 or 5 different standard promo emails because I had to sign up to make the initial offer. All they would have to do to sell this rifle, is answer one question regarding drill & tap holes. It's as if they have no access to the rifle in order to answer the question. Makes one wonder if they really have the gun at all.

Probably don't have the gun. Looks like they use a listing dealer "network".
Anywho, reading their "terms and conditions" I see this:

For offers on used Guns, Buyers may have the opportunity to submit offers directly to certain listing Dealers via the Guns.com Site. Offers on used Guns constitute a direct negotiation between a Buyer, on one hand, and Guns.com or the listing Dealer, on the other hand. Once a Buyer makes an offer on a used Gun, Guns.com or the Dealer, as applicable, may accept, decline, or counteroffer within 24 hours. After 24 hours, the offer will be automatically declined as an expired offer. If Guns.com or a Dealer makes a counteroffer, the Buyer has a new 24 hours to accept or decline that counteroffer. After 24 hours, the counteroffer will be automatically declined as an expired counteroffer. There are no further opportunities for a counteroffer by the Buyer after the initial counteroffer made by Guns.com or the Dealer. A Buyer will be blocked for 30 days from making any further offers on a specific used Gun after being declined by the Dealer for the second time. Guns.com will inform the Buyer once an offer or counteroffer on a used Gun is accepted.

Buyers take a risk to some degree buying sight unseen online anyway, even when pictures are clear and close up, and they have an inspect and return provision. But to buy from these guys is almost suicidal. I am a retired guy that never did like casinos so I'll pass.

Your always better off buying locally or in person. So what if you have to pay more in taxes, sure beats shipping especially in today's situation.
You can get a good look at the gun or whatever and your$$$ stays in your community.

When I purchased my Savage 219 as posted above, I made a counter offer about $50 or $75
dollars less than asking. My reply, as I recall, was within about 48 hours. The Savage 219
is not an expensive used gun all though it has a small but rather rabid group of followers.
I paid $350 or so.
When my counter offer was accepted, I had a opportunity to decline, so you are not locked in.
I had 24 hours to complete the purchase or decline. Guns.com is a listing service that
anyone can use to buy or sell, less risky I think than Armslist but more than Gunbroker.
I wouldn’t buy a new gun there, but for the unusual guns that interest me, online purchases
are the only way. I’ve bought many guns on Gunbroker and a few from on line dealers.
I have not and will not buy on Armslist.

The rifle I am referring to has only 3 pictures. Two from maybe 10 feet away, and one of the open action that covers about a foot, and that's it. They are not really color pictures either. The description gives barrel length, make, model and caliber....that's it, except to mention 2 missing parts. All requests for pics and information have been ignored.
You tell me what you would do....I chose to ask around.
