Some pics and info of my scheutzen.
Sempert & Krieghoff. Sempert was a short term partner.
It is a known 200 x 300 meter round for that piece and period. The engraved fella on the left side proves it. LOL
After the shoot it is party time . Right side of receiver. And LOL again.
It was made in 1924.
Has an ambidextrous thumb rest. The buttstock is a piece of craftsmanship in itself.
Shown is the trigger group lever engaged then released. Just a remarkable fit.
The trigger springs have a high mirror polish. Go figure.
The rear sight is another work of art. From the peep disc to the blued blade to the adjustments.
Notice the peep and blade portion is on a slight angle. Not an error. Fine tunes elevation.
Sights use a key to install and adjust. I made with horn and brass.
The front sight has four posts which are rotated to position.
Pretty nice piece. Missing a left side forearm escutcheon for the forearm wedge. I’m about to make.
And some moron squeezed the forearm in a vise. Pendejo ! lol Left some marks on it. But I can fix it though.
Bore is excellent.
I had an offer from a Scheutzen dealer in 1998 of $1700.
Will bring more due to ambidextrous rest.
Estimating $2200 or so. ow.
The set trigger. Word of caution. Once set,,,, don’t sneeze.
Thanks for looking.E0C3CF2F-C408-442A-8E49-5CAAC723B20A.jpeg60DD867C-039C-47E0-882D-C4B1FAB49826.jpegF3A12381-5C03-4288-9C68-957823011A50.jpeg3ADA16CD-38A0-470E-93D9-54D289688EB0.jpegB01A4465-61EB-438A-9A48-CCF471E5909D.jpeg18677325-1A0F-407F-89DD-68348AA39984.jpeg60EB2D86-4477-450D-9168-9C3EC072FD56.jpeg45CF2CD5-44E0-4319-93BE-A2A8BFFD74B7.jpegF1DB7920-D2CA-4AF3-9A88-D50E8A728494.jpeg905E29FD-251B-4C0C-A338-7618B75C888C.jpeg

Do you shoot any western Scheutzen match's? I live around the corner from Tom Masons Stars and Stripes Scheutzen Park.

Have never shot any scheutzen matches. East coast here btw. There are some matches not to far from where I live though. Difficult to fit everything in.

Some of the hard core guys travel all over the country and even across the pond to shoot. I know every year around the 4th of July there are 2 large match's at Tommy's. The Canadian American and a International match.
