Load for bison

I drew a bull bison tag for a reservation in SD this October.
Been working on my load, and my Lyman Deerstalker really likes the 420gr No Excuses, over a felt wad and 80gr of 777 FFG. If I go much over 80gr, my groups start to open up.
My question is, do you guys think this load has enough power for this hunt.
Guide says shots avg between 50 and 75 yards. Will be going for a heart / lung shot, no head shots.
Any input appreciated. Thanks.

No experience with buffs but I think as long as you put it in the vitals you will have a dead critter, that's a big chunk of lead so should penetrate as long as a big leg bones not hit, even then probably would still make it thru.

We captured, and looked at the 420g Noexcuse twice, first using 50g of Blackhorn, and then using 80g Blackhorn Both times the range from rifle to the impact was 25 yard. Both bullets penetrated plenty deep. The 80g Results can be seen here. The 50g Results can be seen here. Of course neither result is on hair, but they do instill some confidence.
