Was a good morning in the woods today. Had deer moving from daybreak. I didnt see any horns but 12 does and fawns. I picked out a bigger doe and dropped the hammer. Shot was 75 yards, load of 110 grains Blackhorn 209, 44 cal .430 265 gr FTX, green crush rib outta my 50 cal Optima. High shoulder shot dropped her in her tracks. First deer I have taken with that combo, usually its 44 cal 240 gr XTP.
