Actually I got two. Both were bigger than the boat, it's 7 foot long. I'm working on a video.

Wow!! I bet that was one heck of an experience! Congrats.

How long were each of those fights? I’d imagine they pull you around for a while.

Ever hear the term "Nantucket boat ride"? I have a feeling that is what you probably experienced.
EDIT: I meant to say "Nantucket sleigh ride". It's when whalers referred to the ride they would have after spearing the sperm whale and it would haul you know what with them in tow.

Protected in n.y. also, but the guys get a few while bullhead fishing. The fish are so tired when they get them off the hook that they have to hold them and pull them back in forth in the water to resuscitate them or they would drowned.
