I live deep in the East Texas Piney Woods. My family has owned a sizeable tract for decades and I used to mostly bird hunt but am getting back into shooting whitetail. Muzzleloading just seemed to me to be a more honest way of hunting, with lots of variables, and challenges that makes it more exciting to me then modern cartridges.
