Hi all:
Looking forward to communicating with you all. I live in Louisiana but hunt in Arkansas. I recently ordered a CVA Optima from CVA, gun looks great. I haven’t sighted the gun in yet. It’s been a while since I’ve owned a muzzleloader so any advice is appreciated.

Most will advise go to loose 777, the bullets should be fine.

Welcome from Oklahoma. Not a pellet fan either but a lot of shooters like the convenience.

Welcome. Youll love the Optima. And yeah pellets are convenient but youll probably end up shooting loose powder after a while.
