Hi I’m Travis from Team Buffalo Outdoors. I’m a passionate outdoorsman from New Jersey - yes, we’re allowed to Hunt in that state.

My muzzleloader arsenal:

1998 Knight Original Disc .50 Cal 1:28 twist w/ 3x9 Leupold
- 90 gr by volume of blackhorn with 250 gr Knight Red hots

1979 Investarms .50 cal 1:48 twist percussion cap Hawkin iron sights
-100 gr of pyrodex/blackpowder with .50 cal round ball and patch.

I’m looking to upgrade to a Mountaineer thumbhole or Ultra-Lite with the nitrided barrel, however, Knight informed me nitrided barrels are on hold right now due to COVID. Only the Dynatek Stainless Steel models are available.

Should I wait it out, or buy a dynatek coated mode now and ship it out to parker trutech for a salt bath nitride?

:welcome: To the brotherhood. I’d wait for the Nitride, why? Because I don’t have one. Oh, I have no complaints whatsoever with the dynatek stainless rifles.

Welcome from NW Missouri! Glad you are here.
