40:1 alloy from Roto metals. There’s a couple grains difference between lightest and heaviest but, they’re dang close to 530 grains. Got the finning problem solved.

No “finning” about two grains difference in weight, expected in that heavy of bullet, for me anyway.....

First group with the Snover, 60 yards 85 grains Swiss weighed, no over powder wad cause I forgot to put it in under the first bullet, so I shot the other two the same way. Roto Metals 40:1 alloy. Cleaning between shots.

Second group 90 grains Swiss weighed. .50 cal over powder wad. 60 yards. Cleaning between shots.

Third group shot 90 grains volume, cause I only took the six weighed charges. No wad, did not swab after the last shot on the previous target, needless to say, DIRTY BORE! This rifle has always done a little better with a dirty bore. I wish I would have stuck one more in there, cause I bet the one in the bullseye was the first of the three. The other two almost touching. I’m thinking number four would have cloverleafed. That’s what I’m gonna keep telling myself.

not the results I wanted overall, but I’m gonna keep working with it.

My Bet is that Bullet will Shoot Well Cast of an Alloy Such as 1-20, I have seen it Make a HUGE Difference MANY times, LONG Bullets such as this Snover Type Benefit the Most From it. My BIG WIDE Meplat Bullets do Very well Cast of Pure Lead

So I shot 1 clean bore, then 1 dirty bore. Cleaned the rifle, shot 1 clean bore then 1 dirty bore. The 2 clean bore shots are low, the two dirty bore shots are high. Ran out of Swiss, so I didn’t shoot any others. I would have liked to put one more set shot like that in there.
