Thanks, it's turning out better than I expected.Well done! You would never know that wasn’t a wood stock looking at that bottom pic.
A member on the other muzzleloader site had a bobcat for sale a while back. He said he painted the stock to look like wood, which got me thinking about it.That looks great as is!! Where did you hear about doing that?? Pretty darn cool
Looks beautiful...would you mind explaining the steps? I have to look up what alcholo ink is!A member on the other muzzleloader site had a bobcat for sale a while back. He said he painted the stock to look like wood, which got me thinking about it.
I kinda wanted to do a camo paint job but looked at a few videos online. A lady used the alcohol ink to do metal coffee mugs. They came out looking like wood grain.
Figured I'd try it on the stock.
From the videos I watched, yes you can do all sorts of things with it, depending on the brushes you use.Looks good. Could you use other alcohol ink to add streaking, burl and figure also?
I can but just heading out the door now. I'll have to get back to it later on.Looks beautiful...would you mind explaining the steps? I have to look up what alcholo ink is!
