I changed out my sights on my whitetail. I really like the Skinner brand so I bought the “860” rear peep matched up with a .400 tall front blade. Trial run today. Need to do some math and trim my front sight a wee bit. My load for this rifle is. 80grn Swiss FFG , 1 54 cal wool wad and my home cast .505 450grn bullet lubed with idaholewis concoction. 100 yards.

very nice pattern. I'm not familiar with that peep. Isn't it adjustable?

Yes, the sight is adjustable for both windage and elevation. The rear peep is a twist up/down adjustment. I added 2 complete turns. I will file the front down to finish it out. I just don't like the rear peep sticking up tall...just me.
