Good morning! I'm new to the sport and anxious to learn. I live in central KS and have two sons (ages 14 and 10) and both shot their deer this year with my .270. The oldest shot muzzleloaders for the first time in the Youth Hunter Education Challenge last spring and then quite a bit at boy scout summer camp in South Dakota last summer. Both of them thought it's time for us to have one, so I have a lightly used .50 cal. TC System One and a .50 cal. Denali to try out. We're members of a gun club that is less than 5 miles away, so we're looking forward to some time at the range shooting together. Lots of learning to do, so I'm planning to find someone in the club that I can watch and learn from as we go. All helpful hints will be appreciated!
