nikon no longer making scopes?

I read where they are gonna, but who knows for how long?
Throw all the Nikon scopes in the garbage. My dad Nikon omega scope just crapped the bed. Was shooting all over the place. Put a cheap vortex crossfire on it he’s right back on target.
I had a Nikon archers choice range finder. My dog ripped the button out of it on the top. I sent in asking how much to be repaired as it was just a rubber button. They advised me that they no longer make that model, wouldn’t repair it and told me $225 to upgrade to a new range finder. I request it back as is. I put a thumb tack and duct tape over it and gave it to the kid down the road.
I’ve since replaced every scope and optic with vortex and have been issue free. My guns hold there zero from year to year now no problem.
