As a native North Carolinian, this tread got my attention. I live in elk and trout country now... I have relatives that still hunt NC with bow and muzzleloader, can't believe no Tar Heels on this forum... Maybe this will give it a bump and draw some attention. Good luck on your hunt.

Have been to Sylva a few times. Nice town not to far from Cullowhee. Spent a little time around WCU.
