Northern Missouri Late Muzzleloader.

Anyone hunting late muzzleloader in Northern Missouri. Friends have done well during regular gun and we might head down there for a few days in January. Sounds like a lot of crops are still up.

I would think that there would be very few crops left in the fields by January. I hunt in KS the first week of Jan ( antlerless ). I generally have good success. They move to feed.

I headed down there for a couple days in the muzzleloader season but didn't hunt. Just scouted a number of areas around Kirksville for this upcoming season. I did run into a few nice deer and did see a few guys out during the week but overall very little pressure compared to where I live. Trying to get time off of work this season.
