Was able to finally get out and turkey hunt. Took this central Wa Jake with my late uncles SxS 16 gauge. Modified choke and #6 pheasant loads. Gotta keep it close with this gun, probably a 20 yard shot on this bird. Way cooler, my buddy followed me up and took his with his longbow!

That is neat! I really like SXS shotguns, I grew up with them. The wood on your buttstock looks beautiful. What make is it?

Mike

The gun it self is an old Riverside Arms. The buttstock is a new replacement walnut from Boyd's Gun stocks. The original was glued, taped and pinned through the wrist. Basically unusable. The for end is original and in really nice shape. I wished my relatives would have taken better care of it through the years.

AWESOME Job HB!! And what a Cool Old Shotgun to GIT R DONE With! :lewis:

'Riverside Arms is a brand name manufactured by J. Stevens Arms Co. Good to see the old Girl out hunting. Well done
