Because of poor eyesight I'm actually thinking of getting a Dr. Pearson's Universal No-drill rail system for my 50 cal CVA Bobcat . Here are the choices of optics I'm looking at. 1) Reflex Red Dot 2) Holographic Red Dot 3) 4X Compact Scope. 4) 2-7 power Compact Scope. Any suggestions opinions?

I would go to a good store that has a lot of choices regarding optical sights. And ask to look through all of sights that you are interested in purchasing. A lot of people with astigmatism cannot make their eyes focus a red dot sight clearly.

Well found out some info on that No-drill rail system. They said I shouldn't put a sight on it heavier then 4oz which rules out 99% of all rifle scopes and red dots. So I either stick with my non-adjustable fabricated rear peep sigh and front blade sight or have a gunsmith drill and tap the barrel on my CVA Bobcat and then attach a picatinny and scope
