I have .45 Lyman Goulds, in both hollow point and non hollow point (curtesy of MichiganMuzzy). My question is I am going on a early season muzzleloader hunt for both black bear and antlerless whitetails. Which bullet should I use between the 2? The chances of me shooting a black bear are a lot less than a doe but I was thinking about using the flatnose goulds just in case I do get a shot at a bear, to make sure I get enough penetration on a bear. So would you guys use the Hollow point or the flat nose goulds if you were me???

I don’t feel you can go wrong with either, If i we’re targeting a Bear ONLY I would use the Solid Point, But I wouldn’t hesitate in the least to Shoot a Black Bear with a Hollow Point Lyman Gould. Go with whichever one you shoot the Best, Shot placement is KING :lewis:
